Biographie

Simon Ruffieux est chercheur et chargé de cours au département d'informatique de l'Université de Fribourg. Il est membre de l'Institut Human-IST. Il dirige actuellement l'initiative HIP (Human-IST x SwissPost Initiative), qui coordonne les projets universitaires en relation avec La Poste. Ses recherches portent sur l'apprentissage automatique, l'intelligence augmentée, la science des données, les interactions homme-machine et la réalité augmentée et virtuelle. Il s'intéresse particulièrement à l'exploitation des avancées technologiques récentes pour renforcer l'autonomie des individus, avec un accent particulier sur les personnes ayant des besoins particuliers.
