Biography

Pierre-Yves Rodondi, MD, is ordinary professor at the ÌÇÐÄVolg, Switzerland. He is Director of the Institute of family medicine. He studied medicine at the University of Lausanne, where he obtained his medical degree in 1997 and his doctorate in 2001. He obtained his specialty in internal medicine in 2003. He is working as family physician in a private practice since 2005. He completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. From 2015 to 2018, he led the center for integrative and complementary medicine at Lausanne University Hospital. His teaching to medical students is focused on general internal medicine, communication skills and complementary and integrative medicine. He is a member of the board of the Swiss Society of General Internal Medicine. His fields of research are family medicine, complementary and integrative medicine, chronic pain and cancer.
